Cuffs:
the camera work shows how the bully confronts the man trying to pick out his food from the shop and this therefore makes us feel intimidated by him and also can cause us to feel scared. it also doesn't show his full body so we dont know what has happened to him and we want to find out, but the way he falls makes us realise he is dead. also the way that the camera tracks his body as it slowly falls to the ground.

In class, we looked again at your extract so that I could explain that the victim is not laughing at the bullies but that Benson accuses him of doing so as a spurious justification for his unprovoked attack.The camera work is slow and steady, to build tension.(It shows the fear OF the victim?) Look at your expression. You could explain that the camera does not show the attack at all - the focus is on the rear shop doorway with the overheard dialogue of the victim pleading to be left alone. This is because violent crime cannot be shown before 9 p.m. It is not a tracking shot when Amit falls to the ground. He falls into the waiting frame. Before the attack, you could write about the framing of the bullies at the ends of the aisles, showing that Amit has nowhere to escape to.
